Yes, all TowSki products are designed for both skis and snowboards. You can also carry a mix of both.
That depends on the specific solution you choose:
- The TowSki Cerler can carry up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards, for example.
- With the TowSki Aneto you can store 4 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards – up to 6 with an extension.
- The extension solutions for the TowBoxes V1 and V5 offer space for up to 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards.
All freestanding TowSki ski racks are mounted on the trailer hitch and are therefore compatible with all vehicle types that have a trailer hitch.
TowSki offers two types of ski rack solutions:
- Standalone models (TowSki Cerler and Aneto), which are mounted directly on the trailer hitch.
- Add-on solutions for existing carrier systems (TowBox V1, Tow Box V5, TowBike).
All TowSki models feature secure mounting systems and are lockable. In addition, high-quality materials protect against corrosion and cold.
No, that’s a major advantage over roof racks: TowSki products do not affect the vehicle’s height. This makes it easier, for example, to drive into underground parking garages or onto ferries.
There is a mounting bracket on the carrier that allows you to attach an additional third license plate in just a few simple steps.
The ski racks are equipped with a 13-pin connector, which ensures that all lighting functions—such as brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights—work properly. To allow the rack to be used on vehicles with a 7-pin connector, a compatible adapter is included in the package.
Yes, all TowSki racks can be easily removed and stored away during the off-season.
It depends on the carrier:
- The TowSki Aneto carrier can be easily folded up and stored to save space.
- The Cerler ski rack, on the other hand, cannot be folded up.
